We executed a targeted on-site technical inspection of a Flender-Bocholt SZN 225 gearbox, an orthogonal shaft unit operating in the Agro industry. Despite its compact rated power of 40 kW, this gearbox is a vital component in agricultural processing, where operational reliability directly impacts production timelines and maintenance costs.

The inspection was triggered by reports of excessive noise and acoustic anomalies during operation. The investigation successfully identified the root cause: an unevenly worn tooth profile on the output pinion.
