Wikov Group is an international industrial group with over 105 years of history, which, through its Gear and Hydro divisions, combines craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation with modern design approaches and manufacturing technologies. For decades, it has been supplying top-tier technical solutions for key industrial sectors and sustainable energy worldwide.
In 2024, it strengthened its position by acquiring the group of companies under the Litostroj brand, significantly expanding its competencies in renewable energy and emission-reducing technologies.
Companies within the Hydro Division operating under the Litostroj brand specialize in the design, development, testing, and production of highly efficient, high-quality, and reliable water turbines and related equipment for medium and large hydropower plants with capacities of 350 MW and above.
The Group thus profiles itself not only as a technological leader in the field of gearboxes, but also as an active partner in the green transformation. Its products are applied in green transport and renewable energy. Last but not least, we minimize waste and maximize the reuse of resources.
While most renewable sources depend on the sun or wind, Wikov supplies gearboxes for the world's most powerful tidal power plant. We collaborate on the Orbital Marine Power project, where our technologies withstand the extreme conditions of the marine environment.
