Increasing energy efficiency and the share of renewable energy sources are among our key strategic priorities. Our action plans include carbon footprint measurement, development of our own RES production, and biodiversity protection in cooperation with NGOs in the field of nature.
In-house energy production: We invest in the installation of photovoltaic panels on production hall roofs and the use of heat pumps.
Repair and service represent a key area of Wikov's operations. Thanks to systematic care for operated equipment, it is possible to significantly extend their life cycle.
From a sustainability perspective, this model has a fundamental benefit: it reduces the consumption of primary raw materials and energy and minimizes the ecological burden associated with mining. Wikov thus minimizes waste and maximizes the reuse of resources.
People are the key element of Wikov Group's success. In response to the shortage of qualified workers, we systematically strengthen internal education through the Wikov MGI Training Center (Wikov Academy) and the Seduo.cz platform. We support equal opportunities, addressing the gender pay gap, flexible working hours, and a transparent wage policy.
We have a long-term cooperation with the Černí koně (Black Horses) organization and engage in micro-sponsorship of local initiatives. We support charity runs and events with a family overlap.
We support youth sports: HC Wikov Hronov, Wikov Ski Skuhrov, TOTR Cycling Team. For employees, we organize ice hockey tournaments for the Wichterle Cup and summer and winter camps for children.
We are a proud partner of cultural projects such as the Police Symphony Orchestra, UFFO Trutnov, or the International Folklore Festival in Červený Kostelec. We develop traditions and cultural life in our regions.
