We conducted a comprehensive on-site technical inspection of a TGE Transmission B207HSA-8-C21 gearbox, a critical right-angle unit serving the demanding packaging industry. With a rated power of 362 kW and an input speed of 1,450 rpm, this gearbox operates at the heart of the production line, where any unplanned stoppage can lead to significant logistics chain disruptions.

Our field service specialists performed a thorough visual inspection and a meticulous cleaning of all internal components to allow for a high-precision assessment. To verify the integrity of the drive, Wikov utilized non-destructive testing (NDT) on all critical gear parts. While several components were certified for continued operation, our analysis identified the need for a proactive replacement of the pinion, bearings, and seals. By providing this detailed technical roadmap, Wikov enables the operator to perform targeted maintenance, effectively preventing catastrophic failure and extending the overall service life of the packaging drive system.
