Overhaul of Renk KPAV-125 VRM gearbox

Full refurbishment of a vertical roller mill gearbox for the cement industry, including the manufacture and installation of a new bevel gear set.

We performed a comprehensive overhaul of a Renk KPAV-125 gearbox operating in a Polish cement plant. This unit utilizes a specialized VRM bevel-planetary architecture to drive vertical roller mills, a demanding application requiring high torque stability.

Following a detailed condition inspection, our specialists identified significant damage to the primary transmission components. To restore the gearbox to optimal performance, we manufactured and installed a brand new bevel pinion and wheel set. Additionally, all associated bearings on these shafts were replaced. This targeted refurbishment ensures the unit can once again handle the rigorous loads of cement production with renewed reliability.
